I switched from Time Warner Cable to Dish Network, and I bought the sports pack so I could have NHL network. What I found out was that there are sports alternate channels that has all kinds of other games on. MSG doesn't show as a Sabres game up here anymore, and I was really angry. But I searched and found the game on the Alternate channels. Does anyone else have this sports pack? Do they ever black the games out?

I don't have the sports package I found the game just fine. It was on 452. I think because Dish Network is a national provider of service Sabres' game when on MSG will be on an alternate channel. And since I get the Top 200, unless there is a free preview, I don't get VS.

But as long as I can see the game I'm happy. Same thing in Buffalo, Sabres are never on the regular MSG. The games are always on the alternate channel. TW puts the Sabres right over the regular MSG feed.
