Are you looking to send a housewarming gift or a baby gift or both?

With Texas on fire, maybe "housewarming" is something to stay away from.

If they cook a lot, I like NY's suggestion of a pan. But I'd suggest a nice wok, I've found ouy wok to be our most versatile stove-top kitchen implement.

Seriously - I went out and bought two pans and a couple good knives, and I'm pretty much dying to use them, just about every day. Good utensils are something that people have trouble rationalizing, when they can buy one $50 pot, or a 13 piece set for $80

Good knives are SO important too. We spent two weeks at my wife's family's cabin in Maine last month, and the dull-ass knives drove me so crazy I went out and bought some new ones to stay sane. We got this great German knife for the wedding, it's called Wusthof Classic. Cuts through anything, it'll cut right through an acorn squash I'd have to saw at with my old knives. It cuts through chicken bone. Highly recommended.

Okay, this is going to sound goofy, but when giving a house warming gift, especially to new home owners, I always include an emergency water and gas shut off wrench (usually wrapped in a bow and attached to the actual gift).

Image

Odd, I know, but it is something almost no one owns, but almost everyone needs at some point, usually in an emergency-type situation. I learned this the hard way one Sunday afternoon when I had a pipe leak under my kitchen sink and had to lay there for over an hour trying to hold back the leak with my hand, like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dike, while my wife ran around town looking for the right tool to turn off the water main.

Sigh, I never get to SEE these NSFW things (while perusing the site at work that is), my company automatically blocks about 99% of the internet. So i'll imagine you provided a link for...the ferrari of vibrators?

No, more like the perfect props you need to get into those positions you always want to, but can't. Plus, they've got covers for the pillows that have straps ;)

Let's call it "erotic furniture".
