First of all, I think there should be a 'WTF' topic icon. Second:

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Police say a traffic stop led to animal cruelty charges after they found a live cat "marinating" in oil and peppers in the trunk of a car.

Buffalo police say officers heard the cat meowing when they stopped 51-year-old Gary Korkuc of Cheektowaga to ticket him for running a stop sign Sunday night.

They say they checked the trunk and found 4-year-old Navarro in a cage, his fur covered with oil, crushed red peppers and chili peppers.

Police say Korkuc told them he did it because Navarro was ill-tempered. Korkuc was charged with cruelty and released; his phone number isn't listed.

Police say he told them he was going to cook Navarro. But they say Korkuc also complained that the neutered male cat got pregnant after he was spayed.

Animal advocates have cleaned Navarro and put him up for adoption.

The guy is mentally ill, which sorta gives him a pass, even though it's despicable.

If he was 'normal', I'd love to beat the shit out of him for that.

Yeah, when I read the part about the male cat getting prego, I knew he had some real issues.

haha...bingo! Besides being a nutter, theres like 3 things wrong with this one sentence.

And also...wouldnt you shave/skin the thing before marinating it? I mean, thats just common culinary sense, why would you marinate all that hair?

Korkuc said he no longer wanted Navarro because the cat was "possessive, greedy and wasteful." He told police that Navarro was mean to him.

I'd guess with a fair degree of certainty that I've eaten cat and/or dog at some point in my life.

Does anyone remember the story from my UB days (8/'03 - 5/'05) about the deer carcass and the Chinese food place? I cant remember what place it was or when I heard the story during my two years there, but I 100% remember watching a Channel 4 News story about a Chinese food place getting shut down because a cop responding to a deer struck accident showed up to find no deer but a blood trail leading to the back door of a Chinese Restaurant that was subsequently shut down......anyone remember this? Anyone......Bueller?

And the news story I remember is indeed from October 2008. (I still would have thought it was more recent than that, but oh well.)

Perhaps the South Park episode aired in that time period?
