Post subject:  Mini-Pack Holders

Hello all, I recently became a mini pack holder and wanted to know that the benefits/details of being a mini-pack holder (besides the $2 off window price and the wonderful lack of service fees). Also I wanted to know if the tickets are all in one place or if they are just wherever they have tickets in your designated price level. So if any of you are mini-pack holders and know the answers, fill me in. The lady I talked to in account services was very vague and bitchy.

This season, I was able to order my Minipack early and get roughly $15 off the ticket price of every game saving me about $330 on 20 seats worth of tickets. You also get an early shot at buying playoff tickets.

They will generally put you in the "best" seat available based on seniority (how long you've had your mini-pacK). The end where the Sabres shoot twice fills up first, starting nearer the ice as the "best" seats and moving further away, then moving into the end where they shoot once (where all my tickets were last year).

You will probably sit in similar seats most of the time (I had the exact same seats a few times last year) but they'll generally put you in the best available seat in the tier you selected.

If the game is less popular, say the Islanders, you can expect to have slightly better seats than a popular opponent, like Ottawa, even if they're both silver games or whatever.

Well me and my friend are just splitting a little 6 game package because of limited financial resources. If the savings get better with seniority, then we're probably going to increase the number of games. Frankly, I'm just pumped to have 3 games this season. Based on what you've told me, I'll probably have tickets towards the shoot once end, considering I have Chicago, Philly, and Boston (bronze). I assume those are probably pretty popular. Thanks for the info.

Yeha, idk what the deal was this year. Basically it was, order your mini-pack by August 20th and get discounted prices. Could have been in response to the complaints last offseason that the mini-pack holders were kept virtually in the dark about when they could renew.

I haven't had seats in the shoot twice end yet (but I've only had my minipack two years), we'll see what year 3 brings.

Like I said, just having tickets is great. I get some tickets from my uncle in Rochester because he cannot make it to as many games anymore. Plus my parents know some people who sell some of their tickets at a friendly price. Really, I just wanted that Blackhawks game and having guaranteed tickets to a bloodbath against Boston is great.

I misread the titled and thought it said mini black holes. I got really excited, then just meh. I'm going to bed.
