That's pretty funny.

People get so damn stupid when it comes to land sometimes. Working for municipalities building public infrastructure like sewers and water you see some dumbassery. The all the media ever reports on eminent domain cases are the instances when the city is screwing somebody.

Had some guy bitching about the town wanting to build a sewer line through like 300' of an empty field. Give me a god damn break.

Another guy, we wanted a tiny corner of his lot full of nothingness for a pump station. And we were going to rebuild the access road to the rest of his property for him while we did it. No dice.
