When a woman says she doesn't like horror movies, what could it be (besides the literal). Is it the gore of horror movies she doesn't like, or is it the suspense of horror movies? Because I want to show my girlfriend Psycho (the original), because it's a great movie. |

Psycho isn't really horror by today's standards. Suspense yes, but still mild. Your girlfriend should see psycho because it's a classic "must see". Like citizen Kane or gone with the wind etc. etc. |

But I know guys who don't like horror movies either...I don't think that's a "girl thing". |

I don't care for scary movies, but mainly because they are so predictable about when people are going to die. It's always the same, I'm going to enter a dark room with a bat, I walk around and don't see anyone, yet before I leave I get struck with the bat I laid down on the table because he was hiding in the perfectly dark corner and I didn't see him, yet it would have taken me .1 seconds to turn the light switch on before I fully entered the room. But it's a scary movie so I didn't and died instead. |

Mouth to Mouth and Hard Candy are two of the most psychologically horrifying movies I've seen, but neither would be classified as horror. |

Reasons why I don't like "horror" movies: 1. I hate the sight of blood...it grosses me out (that and needles. When they were shooting up in "American Gangster" I had to look away) 2. Ever since I've been living by myself, I'll be up late at night and think "Wouldn't it be scary if ____________ happened" (like a scene from a movie) and then I can't sleep, even though I know that won't happen. |

I love a good horror movie. Don't like a gore movie because I do NOT find all of the blood and guts scary, just nauseating. Too many movies now are just gory, not frightening. I loved the original Psycho. I screamed like generally everyone else when I saw it for the first time, but there isn't a lot of flowing blood. I loved Alien, and it didn't flow with blood. I've become desensitized to gushes of blood, which is sad. I love to be scared, and too many recent movies don't scare me anymore because they don't rely on the most frightening aspect of my person....my imagination. Our imaginations can create worse scenes than what we see on the screen. |

How do you tell a girl that you haven't dated very long, that you're not into her medieval bush, look? How do you tell her that it looks like she has Buckwheat in a leg lock? How do you ask her to do some lady scapeing? How do you let her know that it looks like Videl Castro eating a London broil? How? |

Seriously, women in this day and age should know better. |

Ew There is no way you can tell a girl that without her being insulted. Even if you say it in the nicest way possible, and she seems cool with it...really she's upset and embarrassed. How do you tell a guy that? "Would you want to choak on that shit?" ? |

How do you tell a guy that? "Would you want to choak on that shit?" ? Yep, that's about how it went with my ex, who told me, "her mom said people don't do that." (WTF?!?) She eventually relented. As a guy, I have no problem whatsoever being liberal with a razor on any part of my body. It's hair, who cares. |

That's right Alex, be nicely about it, maybe show her pictures of what it should be like. It's just hair, it grows back eventually. If a girl don't like the hairy mess, clean it up, if a guy doesn't like it, clean it up too, work with each other here. It's too bad women grow hair in places other then their heads. |

That having been said, I don't really care if a girl goes a few days extra without shaving her legs. |

Find out how much it costs to get a bikini wax at your local salon, and buy her a gift certificate for that exact amount. Maybe she'll get the hint. |

Shouldn't it be a Brazilian wax instead? |

Haha seems kind of mean to me, though with my suggestion I suppose I'm not one to talk. |

I dated a girl from Croatia (Daria) and she is lovely, and a extremely talented artist, 10 years younger than me, totally got my sense of humor, and liked to keep things rather unruly down there. It didn't work out due to one of the above reasons, but if I could have communicated better with her who knows. |
