I agree. It has to be the yankees. No team inspires more hatred just because of who they are than the Yankees. Despite Red Sox fans best effort over the past 6 years to become the biggest pox on mankind, they're still finishing behind the Yankees. |

Sports Illustrated did a poll on this a couple years ago. The Yankees were second to the Maple Leafs by a healthy margin.  I was extremely surprised, actually. But, yeah, I have to vote for the Leafs because of that. I would guess the Yankees, but that's apparently not accurate.

Maple Leafs are more because of their fans and Burke. Their fans are horribly stupid, probably the same IQ as a tomato. Burke runs his mouth a lot, too. He thinks his team won the cup last year, and the year before that. |

The reason I didn't pick the Yankees is because Baseball is the most boring sport ever to watch, so I'm not even remotely interested in them. And Dallas, well I wasn't alive when that happened, and for the Flyers, I don't hate them as much as I do the Penguins. And the Steelers, I have no beef with them. |
