Who would be down for a MnG Sabres opening night? I know that some people I have talked to have mentioned it. So figured since I'm stuck in Lamestown (see what I did there) I'd kill some time by starting a post. I was thinking we could go to a bar/restaurant. Get some grub, and watch the game. Any suggestions on location? I wouldn't mind going to a singles bar, as I would LOVE to strike out in front of all of you guys. (As usual) Who would be in? What location works best for you guys? |

I'm down. Phil mentioned getting some kind of street hockey going, which would be sweet. |

Don is bringing his stick and gloves with him. Tom, Alex, and I are all done to play street hockey. Jay, I'd imagine you're down. All we'd need is at least one more of us. Also, I was thinking of doing up some hot dogs and grilled corn if the weather is nice. |

I have extra sticks if anyone wants them. It's not really necessary to play with gloves. I use mine because I don't want to get comfortable not wearing them. I also have a full size goal made from PVC and golf netting. I'm not sure if it'll travel well though, I kind of designed it to not come apart. If we're playing without goalies, we might want to use something smaller anyways. |

hopefully we can find a matching goalie then haha. Or we can rotate. I wouldn't mind playing in goal a bit either, but I much prefer forward. If I bring my net, I'll have to bring tie wraps, and it'll be some assembly required, lol. |

This is something I would absolutely love to do. Especially the street hockey part. Too bad I can't. |

As long as I don't have to work and can find a way to get wherever the meeting place is, I would so be down for this, including the street hockey. |

Hey Phil, if you've received like 46 different txt's from me, my phone is tweaking out again, lol. But I did get your message. Maybe I can convince the Mrs. to join in? If need be, we could go 2 on 2 with a goalie with clearing? I think a full game of 3 on 3 with 2 tenders would be sweet. Either way, I think it's a great way to ring in the Sabres 40th! I guess we'll see what we can get going anyway. |
