http://news.yahoo.com/video/us-15749625 ... d-22211197 anyone else find this stupid to boot? switching from uppper to upper and lower case letters isnt going to do dick. the worst part was when they said "blame the internet. where all upper case is a form of shouting." really, the internet? ok.

And this matters why? I don't see any reason to change the signs. The more reflective part I get, but who cares if it's in all CAPS or not? |

Pretty dumb, but as they said...they replace thousands a year for various reasons. If they really care about it, just do it whenever they wear out or are stolen. |

LMAO they're going to replace the signs that say "W 30 ST" because the "T" is in caps? That's rich. I think the signs are better in uppercase because they're like, "WHAM IN YOUR FACE!" so you can read them easier... And when signs say, "NO PARKING" to me that says, "YOU BETTER NOT FUCKING PARK HERE, ASSHOLE." as opposed to a sign that would say, "No parking." which to me says, "Please do not park here, it would be inconvenient to do so, okay?" Well, which one am I'm going to be more inclined to listen to? The one that's asking me or the one that's TELLING me? |

Oh, how wonderful. Now NYC will be quaint! I should make it a priority to make another trip there for a day or something. The last time I was there in March 08, and that was only for a couple hours waiting for a train. Basically, I brought my two friends who'd never been there to Times Square and back from Penn Station. lol. Last legit visit was in 2006. It's so much fun to just walk around Manhattan with no agenda whatsoever. |

My aunt works at a hotel and was able to book us a nice room for about $30 a night, so we just said, "Why not?" and went for several days. My one cousin had never been there before and my other one hadn't been there in years, so I was kind of the one making the calls and I think I showed them a good time. Except when my one cousin threw a temper tantrum because we missed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade |

I went to NYC in 2008, because I was IN the Macy's Parade. |

They'd be better off spacing the letters out a bit more. I have 20/35 and 20/40 vision in my eyes so while I can see everything pretty much perfectly, reading street signs is pretty much a no-go from a distance. |

So who's the manufacturer of these signs that funded the campaigns of the legislators who were elected into office? |
