Okay, so I really just want a job that's going to help me learn more. I'm an "IT" guy, but I don't have a real specialty. I'm not sure if it's that I haven't "found my calling", or if I'm just not smart enough to pick one thing, so I try to pick up on a little of everything. I feel like I should be moving on to leadership/managerial roles, but I have no clue what kinds of positions to pursue. This is my objective statement right now, but I feel like it's generic.

•I want a position that will allow me to use my broad range of experience, my inquisitive nature, and my enthusiasm for problem solving and new technology to be a strong member or leader of a technical team.

mine is, i think, even more generic.

"i want to illustrate the world and everything in it."

I would begin it with "I aspire to be a part of..." or "I aspire to find..."

"I want" just seems so needy.

As far as IT goes, once I get past surfing for free porno I lose interest.

So I would go with:

"I aspire to find the best quality pornography, free of charge. If you don't hire me, you're gay."

For a 'Career Objective' in a resume, short and to-the-point is the way to go. For example, mine is:
Seeking a challenging position in a professional work environment where I can apply my academic background and skills in order to serve the goals of the organization.

Yeah, but to me, those are all generic, and that's not me. Maybe I should really just say "I want to come into your organization and become a reason for your successes."
