From Alex Lovering: It's quite a coincidence (for me anyway) that you recently included "The Circus" into your great movies collection. I received this link yesterday from my Aunt. It's a video exploring an unusual moment in the film which shows an extra who appears to be talking on a cell phone! It is a bit weird actually. Fast forward to 2:42 to see: http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/strange ... movie.html So weird! Some people suggested that the person is just holding their hand up to their face to shield themselves from the sun, but it definitely looks like they are talking into whatever they are holding. |

That is weird, it almost looked to me like his hat was too big, and would fall over his face if he didnt hold it up? But yeah, it mostly looked like someone walking along talking into a cell. |

Don't worry, it's a reference to BBC's Doctor Who. It's a great show BTW. (edit for more background info) Basically this 900 year old Time Lord goes around in his magic flying phone box and saves numerous worlds, mostly ours, with at least one companion, always from earth and almost always female. He's adopted Earth as his home after he had to nuke his home planet and a few other planets out of existence because of a massive "time war" that involved intergalactic space plumber Daleks... I could go on for a while but this is the gist of it.
