It's not shocking that celebrities/professional athletes are more influential than politicians. It's why most of us are willing to drop a few hundred bucks on a concert ticket or a sporting event, yet a large portion of the (voting eligible) population doesn't even bother to vote or are even registered. |

For sure. One's job is to give us a product we like, and the other's job is to do things for us we don't like, but need.
