Honestly, I don't think we have much of an issue here when it comes to douchebags. I wish we had implemented this rule on the old boards though.

I think the ignore function is sufficient enough. We are a tight-knit community and I like that, but I also like when we get new users who want to contribute. I think people knowing that we can all get together and "vote off" a person from the message board wouldn't be sending the right message.

I think we (the mods) have a pretty good grasp on which people deserve to be banned or timed out.

I've thoroughly abused the awesome amount of freedom of expression this board provides, it's unlike any board I've ever been a part of in that regard. I've been banned from so many boards so many times, which doesn't speak well to my character either. I'm actually at a point now where I'm just bored with all of my profanity and disturbing/goofy dialogue. The shock value has worn off, and I feel like just posting like boring old me would.

I don't swear that much in the real world, even though I'd like too!
