Using up what little gold/white tackle-twill I had left, I made a kit for my newest Sabres jersey.

The jersey was ordered from hockeymonkey.com It's the edge game-wear 1.0 style, size large which is pretty frickin huge on me. Probably equal to a pro size 52-54. It came with the word-mark “Reebok” embroidered just below the neckline which had to be ripped out very carefully. The front crest came from my Rivet replica jersey which was beat to absolute shit from game use.

Anyway, things are going good until my machine decides to shit the bed and I get a bit of grease on my hands. Thought I had washed it all off but ended up smearing a bit on the back #6. Not sure if you can see it in the pics, but over all I'm happy with it. Think I cut the front 63 a bit small but meh, it'll get the job done.

Let me know what ya'll think! Please, be gentle :P

Every jersey you finish makes me shake my head at the tailoring shop that told you you don't have an impressive enough body of work. You do authentic-grade embroidering! Those guys are retarded.

Thanks gang!

haha, Thanks Phil! Just the other Day Tara was saying that I really should get into doing this kind of thing legit or open my own business. I don't mind doing one from time to time for my own collection or a bud ;) but to do these on a massive scale just by myself would be pretty tough to fill the orders in a tough time. Like a Keiths, I need to take the time to get it right, If I could land a gig doing this as part of a team or something, that would be cool as shit. Like say, part of the Sabres training staff, :D

hahaha Yeah I wish..

Do you take commissions? Because that really is fantastic work, and I would love to get a jersey that actually has a sewn name and number as opposed to screen printed.

Haha, thanks Rud! Honestly man, besides myself and the odd request from some of the boys at Hockey, Phil is the only other person I've made a custom jersey for. I guess you could use him as a reference for my work. Usually just charge a price for materials used and a bit for labor. lol. I don't make enough of these for others to really get an idea on what the going base price would be but if you were serious about having one done, we could def hash it over. Hit me up with a PM or something sometime.

Thanks again for the props gang!

I don't have the money for it right now, but after the holidays when I have a bit more cash flow, I will be interested in this. I'll hit you up, then.
