Lots of allegations that petrodollars talked big this year...Qatar has never even qualified for the World Cup, the country is the size of Rhode Island, there are serious civil rights issues, and yet they got awarded the World Cup over the country that set the still-in-place records for attendance and money took in. |

interesting fact......... as you can see : a few countries lost votes. if a Fifa-member thinks that a certain country is the best host for the WC, then he must vote for it each round. |
