"The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity scene in the U.S. Capitol this Christmas season. This isn't for any constitutional or religious reason. They simply have not been able to find three wise men in Washington. A search for a virgin continues. There was no problem, however, finding enough jackasses to fill the stable."

Well unless you count the Church of Richard Dawkins as a religion I am as well.

Well, I'm not entirely truthful...I am a newly-converted Grierist. I dabbled a few years ago, but I decided to take Grier into my heart and officially converted over the summer.

 Grier....um...if you're listening....could you please take it upon yourself to make the Islanders look like small school girls in the next game? Thank you...Grier Bless. Amen.

Oh, I took the joke for how it was intended (and laughed heartily) but decided to tackle the bigger issue.

Old joke yes, but whats more interesting is that every year it's still so appropriate.

Funny how our nation was founded under God, and now they are trying to remove it from the public view.

It's a terrible thing really.

Separation of church and state, friend. I don't want my government effectively endorsing an invisible, fake daddy figure on me. Ever.

"God" is the worst thing man has ever invented.

If you were next to me right now, I'd get you one of my unavailable-in-America cans of Alexander Keith's :)

I never said forcing it upon everyone.

But this nation was founded under God, and they are trying to take it away. In all honesty, we shouldn't accept Darwinism either, a theory with so many flaws in it, really?

You should have a choice in school.

The point I was trying to get is about how the founding fathers founded the USA under God, now they are saying God shouldn't be in schools, and we should follow some fake theory about evolution.

Please tell me if Evolution existed, why in the world are Apes still on this planet? Shouldn't humans be the only things left since evolution means change in Animals, and everything started from single-cell organisms? Why are animals and such still around?

And with Atheism, why do you want to live, when the whole Darwinism thing gives we are not here for a purpose, and we are no better than animals.

Just think about it, I'm in now way wanting this topic to get locked or becoming an argument about God or Atheism. That is your choice and I'm not going to try and change your view on it at all. Live your life how you want to, God or no God.

We believed in Santa Claus as young children. We developed the ability to reason, and realized such a person could not exist.
