Post subject:  I'm going to Miami
So, over spring break, boyfriend and I will be going to see a Thunder vs Heat game in Miami. The game starts at 8 PM, but we wanted to get there earlier to hang out and check into our hotel. We'll be staying at the Courtyard Marriot in downtown Miami (it's about a half mile from the arena).

Has anyone ever been to Miami and have any suggestions on what to do?

it helps to know spanish.

i assume youll be taking 95 down? watch your shit, that road is hectic. snorkeling on jupiter beach is really cool. but thats a ways north. rum bar in palm beach gardens is AWESOME.

i love southern florida :)

my best advice...don't go...Miami is more fake than Hollywood, with ass expensive drinks and cover charges...other than that, it's a wonderful city.

miami is a cool city. smaller then people think, but suffering from manhattanization. if you stay in the right areas, youll be fine. DO NOT go in the wrong areas though. just be safe.

oh, and you can always head north to boca. plenty of people to do your taxes.
