i'm going to buffalo tonight with a friend to visit my best friend who goes to school at UB, and go out for my birthday. she hasn't been in buffalo for very long and doesn't know much about the city, and doesn't really know where to go out. the only time i come to buffalo is for games, concerts, and the occasional trip to just get mighty taco, so i'm just as clueless.

so junkies, anyone have suggestions on where i should go? we're all ages 22-24, if that helps with ideas at all.

I used to go to the Pink and the Jupiter room quite often in my youth...no idea if they're still around and "hip" though.

Ah yes, The Pink. Still very hip, and very...interesting. Allen St is a great place to go out drinking. Stay on Allen between Delaware and "the bend" at Wadsworth. Plenty of bars to go bar hopping. The Pink, DBGBs, Brick Bar, Nietzsche's (live music every night), Frizzy's, Hardware Cafe... All great places to go!

Founding Fathers is a great low-key bar.
