We were discussing crappy comic book characters in another thread and I thought it would be fun to list some of the oddest, lamest or just plain stupidest characters from the comic genre. I don't mean ones you just don't personally like though. Like I fucking hate Spiderman but he's not the worst they have over at Marvel. For your approval I submit the following: Howard the Duck:  And his hated enemy Hell Cow.....yes HELL COW!!!

But Howard the Duck was supposed to be stupid though right? Stupidest characters eh? Lobo, DC's half-baked attempt at a Wolverine copy character. The Human Cannonball, an older Hulk villain who, you guessed it, specialized in being shot out of a cannon. Hard to get the element of surprise when you have to tote a cannon around to commit your crimes. One of the coolest but least-known characters to me was Marvel's Terror, of the defunct book Terror Inc. He could attach anyone else's body parts to his body, and he would gain whatever skills the previous owner had. For example he could take a sniper's eyeball, put it in his socket, then become a great shot with a rifle. It sounds totally stupid but actually came off well. |

Batman, I don't agree with. Superman, I agree with. He's just a Mary Sue. |

But Superman, as bland as he is, is not what I would call a lame character. Super strength, super speed, x-ray vision, ability to fly, those are all pretty desirable traits. Even as a boy scout, he's a more impressive character than many, many others. |

I never liked batman, or spiderman. Watched the Superman show with Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher. Love the X-men. |
