| Post subject: | Inline Hockey Endurance Challenge |
In late June every year, the Syracuse Inline Hockey Association runs an endurance challenge. The games are 3 on 3 with a goalie on a full size rink with an inline surface for 18 minutes with no subs. Last year the cost was only $10 a skater, free for goalies, and each team was guaranteed at least three games in the round-robin first round. If a guy doesn't show, or a team can't get a goalie, there's always guys willing to fill in, especially as teams get eliminated. (I played as a sub last year and ended up playing more games than anyone.) I don't have any specifics yet, but I thought I'd throw a post out there for anyone that might be curious and I can add more info as it comes. The tournament will be on a Saturday, starting at eight AM, so I figure if anyone wants to play they can crash at my house which is about ten minutes from the rink and in posting early I can field questions right away. |
