It's going to be off the hook tomorrow. So wish we were going to be there.

I've already been asked if I'd be willing to pass up playing hockey tomorrow to do the family thing for Easter. My answer: Nope. Then, asked if after hockey I'd be ok with doing the family thing after hockey. My excuse: I'll be full of stank after hockey and once I shower, there is no point of heading back in town so we might as well stay home and watch the game.

The couch is looking like it may be my place of rest tomorrow night

Man, I have to get up early and do the egg thing....probably gonna dye eggs tonight. Trying to get out of any other "plans" the wife has for me because if she thinks I'm missing tomorrow's game she's nuts.

I am. Thankfully we only do Easter breakfast at the pancake house and we do our dinner tonight.

Looks like I am doing Easter with Missy's family. Game will be on, though.

I thought this might be a thread about how the country is trying to get away from the whole "easter" thing.....Like instead of Easter egg hunts and Easter bunnies you would have spring egg hunts and spring bunnies....etc

As for PITP, I'll be there when the Sabres are in the Stanley Cup Finals.... :D

At first I thought you meant for good, and I was kinda offended. But now I understand, and think you're being completely reasonable. Game 6 has priority this year.

I don't think we're going to go since it seems a lot of people also aren't. Maybe if the weather is super nice, but not going means 4 hours less driving for us.

Missy doesn't feel good and Joshua wants to go, so we're not going to Syracuse. Plaza ahoy!

I'll be going with just a couple friends. Kind of disappointing compared to the 20 people we had under the thruway bridge cooking and drinking for game 3.

An Athiest on Easter...hmmm. Family runs off to church for food and fun while I clean the house. Shit! Hahaha!

haha, ill somewhat know the feeling next year

(I was waiting to post this until the right time to do so, but this seems like the right time)

This may come to news to you all, but I have left the Romanist faith, and I am taking the steps to enter communion with Holy Eastern Orthodoxy in the fall.
(back to your posts)
Pascha and Christmas are on different Gregorian calender dates, because the Orthodox Church(at least the ROCOR jurisdiction which i will enter) uses the julian calender, so while my family is celebrating those days, they will be nothing special to me

(side note, as to avoid confusion later. I acknowledge that I was, in fact, a romanist and defended the catholic church with vigor, but I am no longer one)
