Hi guys. I'm celebrating my ten year anniversary and I'll be back in NY for it. I'll have the kids with my parents so I'm trying to find something special. I don't want to spend a paycheck on it and I'm looking to avoid the Casino/Niagara on the Lake shit. I'm thinking something out of the way, two nights, in the country with access to good food and antiquing or something like that. It will be the last week of October so I could go for a place that we could sit down for a nice bonfire and maybe a dip in a hot tub. Any ideas?

Finger Lakes? Or maybe the Glen Iris Inn at Letchworth to catch some fall colors.

These suggestions would cover the country/antiques aspects you're looking for, and maybe the good food part if you stayed in Geneva or someplace like that (though good food in rural NY can be pretty hard to come by at times). If you like wine it would probably add a lot more options to a trip to Geneva or Hammonsport or someplace in the Finger Lakes. The Glen Iris Inn is probably not going to have any hot tubs at all, and is more of a quaint and rustic place. But it is right in Letchworth State Park and I personally consider that to be one of the most beautiful places in NY, and a great place to be in late October if the trees aren't bare yet.

I just checked out the Glen Iris Inn site and they have decent prices for sure. Now I just need to see if the wife is up for some colder weather hiking in October. Personally I'd be happy going to Duffs then to a Sabres game but i think I would be cut off from the vagina for quite awhile.

You don't avoid copyright infringement but you can avoid to be found by youtube's search engine which is automatically looking for illegal uploads. As far as I know it's comparing the hashcode and looking for similar content. You can avoid that by mirroring the video.

If you don't like the Glen Iris Inn, don't blame me. Blame everyone else on the board for not offering any alternatives.

My aunt dated the head chef at the glen iris. he's good.

the surrounding area of letchworth is garbage. wyoming county is dirt poor and that is as far from work as you can get in this state. i am from there, i can say it.

what you're asking for isn't realistic. if you NEED a,b, and c, you're not going to get it. if you want two of the alternatives...you can get that. if you want antiquing or something you can drive an hour or so, but it's late in the year so a lot of specialty shops will be closed.
