Anyone here have any experience with ACL injuries? I think I hyperextended mine for the 4th or 5th time playing hockey and i want to make sure that im not completely fucking it up. heres the story... when i play goal, usually on blades, i will feel a popping in the back of the knee that feels almost like a knot is being pulled out of a rope. this is accompanied by a sharp pain that lasts a little while then a mild pain the more i play on it (which i always have). My knee hurts for the following several days making it a pain to walk on and bend. I usually put a knee brace on it, try not to bend it, and ice it. so am i completely fucking up my knee or what? |

if it is a tendon injury, the more it happens the worse it's going to get. rubber bands lose their stretch, tendons are no different. |
