well, i throw side arm. so its a ball that (to a right handed hitter) just jets to other outter half of the plate, but as it gets to the plate, it dips down a little, and moves back in over the inner half of the plate. either you swing over it, or you beat it into the ground. i hold it with a curveball grip, and put backspin on the ball, so it kinda flutters up there. it doesnt move a ton, but it comes in alot slower then you think. basically its an offspeed screwball. |
