...what size? If I may ask... Does it have the fancy hinge and the washable Teflon insert? |

You can make Cuban Sammiches with the newer ones; grilled cheese sammiches, panini...all kinds of wonderful stuff. |

You can also grill peppers and other veggies for some nice uses. |

...and if it has the reversable insert (with the flat surface) you can make crepes, pancakes, and do grilled/fried eggs and sausages...grill hash browns. |

Well first you'll need a friend to help you because George is a large man and he can be difficult to get up onto the grill.... |

I would recommend buying a good (hi temp) basting brush; and a decent (non-scorching) oil (peanut, if you're not allergic) - That way you can brush everything down with a thin coat of oil, as you're cooking, and nothing ever sticks, or tears apart. |

Once you have that (use Canola, if you can't use peanut oil) you can mix up you own special blend of seasonings, and flavor the oil, by allowing it to age with (say, garlic or ginger or cracked pepper or dried herbs) the ingredients in it - longer is obviously better. You can make up different oils, for different uses - Some mild, some spicy, etc. |
