Golden couple: figure skater Evan Lysacek and gymnast Nastia Liukin

The Olympics' hottest couple is not one of the figure skating or ice dancing pairs. No, it's newly crowned figure skating gold medalist Evan Lysacek and the darling of the Beijing Olympics, Nastia Liukin, who has a gold medal of her own in all-around gymnastics.
Lysacek, 24, confirmed their relationship to People magazine, and said that they met at the Skating and Gymnastics Spectacular in fall 2008.
Liukin, 20, was there to see Lysacek win his gold, and Lysacek was on hand to support Liukin when she competed in August at the U.S. Championships.

even if he is one he skated better than the guy who won the bronze medal.
The bronze medalist fell flat on his ass. Weir did not. yet weir went from fifth to fifth. I'll admit weir's program was probably not as tough but still a fall vs a stumble. i'd think that a fall would basically throw you down past fifth automatically.

I think that is why that russian was so pissed at evan. he thought evan was dating a russian girl.
