Does Buffalo even have a team? If not, who do you root for?

Baseball "hype" in Pittsbugrh is talk of a .500 season. Worst franchise in all of sport, congratulations Shitsburgh Pirates.

spring training begins very soon. i got a text from the tigers saying the moving vans are heading to lakeland to set up for ST. reporting dates begin next sunday.

so who ya got?

the red sox got alot better, the yankees and rays both fell quite a bit this winter. the tigers got better :D and the AL west stayed the same, except the angels who got better.

discuss!

how did the yankees fall? they lost Pettitte and that sucks without a doubt but to kind of off set that they signed Rafael Soriano to set up Rivera. Coupled with Joba, or whoever, working the 7th and they have turned their games from 9 inning to 6. outside of their pitching staff their fielders are almost all the same. the only major change is that Posada will become the full time DH with Russell Martin taking over catching duties. now if Martin can get his shit together and be as good as he was a couple years ago then the yankees potentially got better offensively.

easily the yankees biggest blemish is their rotation. CC's fine and from what i heard lost some weight. Hughes was a surprise last year and i hope he can keep it up. AJ...well, hopefully his divorce is what fucked him up last year and with that taken care of he should, hopefully, not suck. the final 2 spots are the problem.

well, they lost out on some key free agents, they lost a few decent players whose spots wernt filled by proven talent, and alot of their players are older and slipping.

CC sabathia may opt out of his contract to become a free agent after the season, presumably to just get a new contract. kinda like a-rod a few winters ago.

It's kind of an ass thing to do, but whatever floats his boat. But if he does opt out, he better have had another 20 win season.

I thought LQueer was in the club already scaring away the Sabres faithful. I guess it is now Halloween yet.

A cab ride with Patrick Kane as another passenger and Ray Emery as the drive would be a party in itself.

How the the hell do a you sign a guy like Bautista to a 5year 65 million bucks and he has only had one good year?????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????? This is going to be just like Vernon Wells and Alex Rios all over again.
