I think his point is legit. If you've got a reason to be a fan of a team, based on where you're from, that's one thing.

It's something else altogether to be a front runner and start liking a team that you have no connection to just because they the current champion.

I'm confused, am I being accused of being a bandwagon jumper for the Steelers or the Sabres? or both?

Just for the record I've been a Steelers fan all my life, and I can see why Penguins fans would hate me for switching teams but I'm still foggy about why you guys are. Was there ever a time prior to, during, or since when the Sabres were ever considered a better team to root for? They pens were literally the Stanley Cup Champions and had a better record in the current standings as well, they had Gold Medal winning players on their team not Silver, and I think at the time the leagues leading scorer as well. And not much has changed. So if I'm a bandwagoneer why am I still here and why would I choose a worse team?
