Jay Glazer reports:

The Buffalo Bills have commenced "Operation Cleaning House."

On Monday the Bills fired their entire coaching staff -- including interim head coach Perry Fewell, FOXSports.com has learned. Fewell, however, is expected to officially interview Monday for the Bills' permanent head-coaching position.

The team has already met with former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher and believes that his interest in the opening is genuine.

Buffalo is also making plans to interview several current assistant coaches to fill their head-coaching void. That list includes Eagles defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, Cardinals assistant head coach Russ Grimm and Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. Other possibilities include Jets offensive coordinator Brian Scottenheimer and Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera.

Nix cleaned house, eh?

At the very least, it'll be an interesting offseason for Bills fans.

I'd keep Fewell, April, and Van Pelt (though not as OC).

Starters or no, loved the cold-weather game plan Van Pelt had in place. That's something our previous coordinators haven't gotten, how to play in cold weather. Kind of important in Buffalo.

They better at least keep Bobby April... I mean come on, our special teams is usually pretty good, but If you want Cowher, then the best thing to do is clean everyone out and start from what HE wants, and HE needs.

Should have happened years ago!!!!

I would have to think it means they think they can land someone like Cowher ;)

Sad to see April gone, but atleast it seems like the Bills actually mean business.

I heard a report on WGR that Brian Billick is putting a tentative staff together, as he is to be interviewed by The Bills in the next few days.

Billick I can see before Cowher would agree to come here. Prefer Cowher, obviously; just don't see it happening with Bill.

Fire Bobby April? I hope we get a coach who re-hires him before someone else signs him. He won't be on the market long.

I don't see them signing Billick, as they said they wanted an offensive guy.

Well at least it's a step in the right direction.

Finally are rebuilding the right way, after 10 years it's only about time.

Bobby April? Fucking Roscoe Parish and Leodis fumble the fucking ball every time. BOBBY APRIL needs to tell them to go down and not try to fight for one yard.

Stop being stupid. McKelvin fumbled once. Roscoe didn't fumble fighting for a yard, he tried to pik up an ill bouncing ball off the ground. Parrish is one of the surest handed return men in the league, and benching him was lunacy. Methinks Jauron did it to look like he was actually doing something since we knew fans would've been calling for his head after the McKelvin incident.

In other news we continue to have one of the top kicking teams in the league despite playing in Buffalo. Brian Moorman has never had a kick taken back for a touchdown against him.

How many other teams have punters with two touchdown passes and at least two rushes for first downs?

Roscoe fumbled more than just once man.

Doesnt matter, thats the players fault not the coach. The coach can say what he wants to say, but the player doesnt always listen to it... and THEY fumbled the ball... its not like April has a little controller that controls what each player does on special teams... jeez...

Exactly. He WASN'T going to give Marshawn's touches to Freddie, so he gave Freddie return game touches so he didn't look like the total asshole that he is when Freddie rode pine for Marshawn.

Simple enough, huh?

...and BTW, McKelvin and Parrish are two of the best return guys in the league(along with Freddie). ANY special teams coach we get will play them, but I'm sure we have smarter members on the forum who would sit a guy who has the "title of the best NFL punt returner of all times based on career average."

Brilliant!
