i heard this on the radio this morning so i figured i'd ask the board. with the way jackson is playing what do you think the bills should do when marshawn is able to return. I personally like having a two premier runningbacks. but what's your opinion. should jackson start even with lynch back, should they consider trading lynch, along with parrish (dumb move in my opinion). i mean parrish is a premier return man. i can think of a wildcat formation that parrish could be utilized. say put parrish jackson, and edwards in the back, and make the defense guess who gets the snap. |

Keep him, Lynch will only get better and both compliment each other very well. Even when Lynch got injured last year Jackson looked solid but Lynch is still their number one guy. Lynch is bigger and can be used in different situations more than Jackson. Lynch drags 3 or 4 guys on his back before he goes down also. a Lynch/Jackson duo will decimate teams. |

Keep them and split the time. Right now there's nothing wrong with having two RB's, especially for the price we have them for. Jackson should be number one on the depth chart though. |

I disagree with that, Lynch is going to be a much better RB then Jackson, that is why he got drafted and Jackson had to go through two Arena leagues and Europe before landing in the NFL. |

Lynch can't read his blocks for shit though. He drags 3-4 guys because he can't find the right hole. I would split time between the two of them and see if our rejuvenated running game is the product of the line playing well, or if its Jackson being more adept at finding seams. |

Lynch is FAR less useful than Jackson. Plus, his speed and hands just magnify the situation. |

Jackson > Lynch. Not even close. Marshawn can be our short yardage specialist, and that's about it. |

I just want to wait and see if Lynch can do anything with our much improved run blocking. |

Can't find holes then? Can't Catch? Can't run? Can't deke? You are insane if you want to get rid of him, he is a complete RB, and he will get better and he drags three guys on his back into the endzone. Please show me highlights of how bad you think he is, these all prove you all wrong about Lynch. |

Anyone who thinks Lynch is useless is a moron. I'm sorry, Lynch has less speed than Jackson but is a much more powerful runner who I'd trust in the redzone way more than Jackson. |

I disagree with that, Lynch is going to be a much better RB then Jackson, that is why he got drafted and Jackson had to go through two Arena leagues and Europe before landing in the NFL. So what? Why does it matter how he got into the league? The Bills have gotten guys like JP Losman, Mike Williams, and Erik Flowers in the first round - don't tell me that they're any good. Then you can look at guys like Kurt Warner that never were drafted. I'm not saying Lynch is not a good RB - he is - but the way they entered the league has no bearing on their current play. Lynch is a more powerful back - he's got the whole beast mode thing going for him. But Jackson is faster and smarter. He's certainly earned the number one spot on the depth chart - he's been nothing short of incredible when he's played. That's why I say let them split the time - they're both good backs and each has their strengths. |

I'll never, ever, ever say Marshawn Lynch is useless, only that he is less useful than Fred Jackson at this point in Jackson's career. This new no huddle offense and the ridiculous run blocking have helped Jackson ignite his game. Lynch has a terrific nose for the end zone, but like Alex said, he can't read his blocks worth a shit. I really like the idea of a gnarly two-headed monster like we all envisioned last season. It'll happen, but I just want Jackson to stay the starter. |

Lynch has good numbers and he is a good running back, Freddie is a faster runner which is why he has more yards per carry, but saying Lynch can't find holes to run through, or run behind a block is completely false. In those highlights he read many holes and found many openings to run through. He found his lead blocker ran behind him and then took off. they only reason Lynch is useless right now is because he is suspended. When he comes back no one will ever want to trade the guy or get rid of Jackson, because both of those RB's together should be able to put up over 100 yards every game easily. |

No one said he can't find holes or run behind a block. He is just not that great at reading his blocks. It's true. No one is going to be able to find highlights of him getting stuffed because no one saves those. I'm not saying he's a terrible back, but his ability to read blocks and cutback lanes, and his ability to know when to just hit the hole and go down for a four yard gain has been very underwhelming. Now part of that falls on the predictability of previous play calling, part of it falls on substandard run blocking, but a lot of it goes on Lynch. That's why I've adopted a wait-and-see approach. I want to see what Lynch can do with our apparently rejuvenated run blocking. I think week 4, Freddie Jackson is the starter. He's earned it. |

Well with how bad our run block has been, I bet Lynch can have a much better year, still being able to get 1200 yards with terrible playcalling and behind our offensive line that is pretty impressive. |

The duel back system can only make this team better. Jackson will make the big runs and good catches, Lynch will make the big short yardage plays and be our red zone back. The 2 of them together will make us one of the top 10 run teams in the league. |
