This Canada v. Slovakia game is like an NHL10 game played on rookie mode.

lmao....i know....it was either this game or the US women's game....but one of these clubs out shot the other 61-7.....lolololololol

they were talking on the local sports radio show today that it's possible they may do away with women's hockey b/c of these blowouts....they said that some country - either china or one of the korea's only had 600 total women playing hockey in their entire country !!

Attempting to split women's discussion out of the Full Schedule thread.
Stay tuned. We'll see if it works.

ETA: Good to go ;)

I wish there was hitting in women's hockey.

Also, I am loving that Doc Emrick can barely be heard during the broadcast

Dammit, I can hear Emrick now.

Also, yea, the Swiss don't look so dynamic against the favorites.

At this point, it's like a pride of pissed-off lionesses toying with their prey.

They did infact beat the tar out of the China team, but did you guys see the glove save their goalie made on a what should have been wide open cage? I was like OMG! The game was pretty much over at that point I believe, but way to stay in there!

On the game at hand, this isn't too bad of a game. I figured Canada would have scored more than they have so far. Not a bad game at all.
