From Peter King's Monday Morning Quarterback:

Very impressed with the Kings Saturday night. Competitive, feisty, blue-collar team with an excellent goalie. The U.S. is making a mistake if Jonathan Quick doesn't get real playing time in Vancouver. Good crowd too. Kings sold out every game in February. Enjoyable night at Staples Center.

i don't know if that is worse or if a guy who thinks they know stuff about hockey talks but you are sitting there answering fixing all the mistakes.

Or if you hate a sport yet you know more about it than a so called fan. say Nascar.

That having been said, I wouldn't mind if Jonathon Quick started every game. Stanley Cup > Gold Medal.

Until I see something other than better lucky than good from quick, I'm behind Miller.

Miller on the bench for a few games would not bother me at all...remember, Lindy plans on starting him every game but one or two the rest of the season and playoffs, so the less Miller the better for the Sabres.

The schedule is not all that brutal.

They play on Tues / Thurs / Sunday , then if they advance, don't play again until the following Wednesday.

Unless they are playing in the Bronze medal game, they will never be in a back to back situation.

Quick is a legit starter, he made some great saves during the Aves game.

I watched it until the third and was surprised with how good the LA team is this year and how Quick has come along this year.

You could consider giving an early game to Quick, but with only two games before Canada it would be best to have Miller in against both SUI and NOR. Whoever the starter is needs to get acclimated to both the rink (boards and glass) and his new teammates, getting communication straight with his d-men.

Obviously Miller is going to be the starter against Canada, so he needs to use both games to sharpen up with all of the above.

I especially hate it when I hear non-hockey guys talking about hockey, because they still think they know more than me because I'm a female. Makes for a lot of tongue biting on my part.

I can't wait for Sunday's game, but I have to fucking work all the days these are scheduled. I'm kinda pissed about that really.
