What do you think about this decision? I'm conflicted, but leaning towards questioning Wilson's intentions. He's got to be sick and tired of Miller by now, and any chance he can get to run him into the ice may be too appealing to pass up.

I doubt that Wilson would do this just to burn out Miller.

I think Miller is the best of the 3 goaltenders, and Wilson thinks Miller gives them the best chance to win.

I honestly think Miller is a 9 or a 10, and Quick and Thomas are in the 7-8 range and that's why Miller is getting every start.

Wilson is just enough of a douche bag to do this. This is what I've been worried about all during the Olympic break, especially since he's made it public he intends to use Miller in every single game. I can understand why he wouldn't want to go with Tim Thomas for a game, especially with the competition getting harder, but why not go with Quick? The kid is having an awesome season in LA and I think he would bring his "A" game between the pipes for the US.

Let’s hope Darcy has some team on speed dial to land us a solid backup once the season resumes heading down the stretch run. Miller is going to need a rest without worries of being called upon as the back up for the first couple games after the break and honestly, I don't think Patty has much tread on them tires to get the job done.

This could get ugly real quick for our Sabres folks.

Believe me when I say there is no ulterior motive to my wanting to see Quick get a start for hopes that Canada will prevail or benefit in any way shape or form rather than my fear for what may happen regarding the NHL standings. Obviously Miller is the best of the 3 and for that reason I’d understand why Wilson would pick him. The thing is, I just don’t trust the son of a whore or his Toronto intentions!

Now, as for the game this Sunday, I'll be playing hockey and won't be forced to cheer against Miller, but I will say this. May the best team win, and win it cleanly! Old time hockey! Like Eddie Shore

He should have played Quick against Norway imo. I think the fact that he didn't shows that he isn't fully confident in his team. Burkie should have chosen a different coach anyways. Torts is the perfect coach for a tournament like this.
