Burkie is pulling a Herb Brooks on the boys, keeping them paranoid, or so Ryan Miller thinks. I like that Burke and Wilson are making them keep their heads small. No inflated egos until AFTER a medal is won. |

He was excellent in both and prevented his team from losing worse than they did. This game will be no walk-over. La Suisse has nothing to lose. Rien a perdue. However you say that in German. Let's get this straight; The US winning this tournament would be NO miracle, as the 1980 team of amateurs winning was. Upset winner? Probably, especially as we have a lot of new players relative to The Olympics and International competition. Regardless; it would be an epic win, and will put some additional (and needed) media focus on hockey in the US! Let's go USA!
