They did an Olympic Update after the US/Finland game, and interviewed 'Ryan Miller' who GUARANTEED that the US would win the gold if they played Canada.

Later on, they cut into Hardball with Tweety Mathews to admit they got duped, and did a short interview with OUR Ryan Miller.

How fucking cool is it that people are PRETENDING to be Ryan Miller now? I love it!!

Hahaha, I saw that...it's awesome. Ryan was a good sport about it too. :)

I wanna hear the impersonators interview. Ryan has such a distinctive voice, I think us Sabres fans would have known that it wasn't really him.

Oh it's actually on Huffington Post's website now...last time I checked it wasn't there. That guy sounds nothing like him...but it's not like MSNBC reporters are used to Miller's voice like we are. Just wonder how that guy got on the air. The impersonator is such a douche though but it's hilarious.

Quick, someone call up MSNBC as Sidney Crosby and make statements that your gonna slam Dustin Brown and David Backes. Don't forget to say that you think the USA defense doesn't stand their ground and you could skate circles around them, especially Ryan Sutter and Brookes Orpik. ;)

Also, at the end of the call, make sure you state that all American hockey players are just Wannabe's compared to Canadian players and that Canada will own the Gold Medal. Finish up by calling Ryan Miller lucky the first time and tell MSNBC you plan on putting so many pucks in the net you doubt Miller lasts past the first 6 minutes of the 1st period.

It's kind of cool that Miller is THE high profile player on team USA.

Squanto's never had the first part that was the actual prank call.

The original post on HuffPo didn't have the original prank call. They updated the page after I created the thread.

Yet more quality programming from NBC...

Disgraceful...it's like being duped by a fake Peyton Manning. They are truly the bottom of the network food chain.

Where would you rank ESPN in that food chain? They got caught interviewing a fake Brian Westbrook the other day.

All of these news organizations have given up on being right, and are more focused on being first.
