Casual golf fans love him because he's the best, and there's the aura of invincibility surrounding him. Purist golf fans hate him because he gets a substantial portion of coverage at the expense of other golfers, and isn't very respectful on the course.

This is definitely going to happen. Augusta is well known for controlling everything about the tournament, and they have a long history of ejecting any spectators that they don't like for any reason.

I think that's why Tiger chose this tournament to come back. He'll be generally protected from most crap by the normal 'rules' of the vclub.

well they got the alien wizard at independence hall that was making all the rich guys cheat, so we shall see how things turn out (Southpark reference tonight's new episode).

The Masters is a little different animal. You can walk 5 feet off an authorized path and you'll be threatened with expulsion and lifetime revocation of your tickets. Tix are almost impossible to get in the first place, so getting them revoked is very scary.

That club epitomizes the 'snooty golf club' stereotype. The club is better than you, and so are it's members. They'll remind you often. They're even rumored to give the press lists of off-limits topics.

Think North Korea without the human rights violations and nuke program.

Honestly, anybody that is such a boob to talk during the back swing of a golfer doesn't belong anywhere near a course anyway. I'd snap if someone did it to me on a course to. It's a game of concentration, and intelligence, and fans should respect that, and if they can't then they don't belong there.

I know I've screamed at people for talking during my back swing, and I dont even get paid to play. I just enjoy golfing. People who go to a course, get hammered, and slap balls all over the place drive me crazy. So much so that I refuse to go on weekends more often than not, because of all the guys who just go out and treat it like a drinking game.

I agree totally with Tiger, want to criticize his golf, fine. Want to criticize his endorsement deals, fine. But leave his family, and personal life to him. So he fucked a few other girls, I dont condone it, but at the same time, would anybody give a shit if he were just some scumbag that held a normal job?

damn right! augusta national is the end all, be all of golf courses. remember when that raging dyke staged protests to allow women to golf there? im all for equality, but this is a privately owned club, and they can do whatever the hell they want.
