does it really matter? the guys reputation is shot to fuck in baseball and the only way he will get into the hall of fame is by buying a ticket. |

This is where I dislike baseball. It's hall of fame, not hall of good baseball players that were also great guys that sportswriters like. |

I think what Alex is talking about, Mike, is that the baseball sportswriters (who I assume are the regime who controls who goes in) are too obsessed with who they like instead of who's a great player. |

I think as a whole baseball is really interesting, and I have a half dozen books on my shelf about baseball, but I don't really have a team so individual games don't do much for me. |
