So, turns out Buffalo has a team in the new National Premier Soccer League. I just found out about this today (like, five minutes ago). Right now, there's a poll up to vote for what their nickname will be;I voted for "Blitzkrieg" for a few reasons. I'm comment #32, so read that if you wanna know why as I'm too lazy to re-type them here.

Inaugural season home opener is May 29 at 3PM at All-High Stadium. Who wants to buy a scarf and go with?

soccer... i think its awesome soccer is warming up and people are beginning to care. i like the MLS and am excited for the world cup. enjoy this franchise, guys. its a wonderful opportunity for the city.
