Randy Moss has been traded from the New England Patriots to *GASP* the Minnesota Vikings. So Brady doesn't have a deep threat guy anymore. Great news for everyone in the league. I don't think his arm could throw that far anymore.

So what do you think of the move, is it a sign the Patriots are going to rebuild in the next few years, or is it, they know Moss and Brady are already past the twilight's of their careers and know getting something for him now is the best they are gonna get?

...for a 3rd round pick in 2011. They would have gotten a 3rd round pick in 2012 anyway if he'd have left via free agency, therefor dumb move in my opinion.

How so? If New England lost more free agents then they got back, they could have gotten a 3rd round compensatory pick at the end of the round. It's unlikely that it would be that high based on past history of comp picks.

This way they have a guaranteed 3rd rounder, and they get rid of a guy who's disgruntled and doesn't want to be there.

Oh, I don't really know NFL rules. I thought they would get one anyway because it said in the article:
Quote:
Had New England allowed Moss to leave in free agency next offseason, it would have received a third-round selection in the 2012 draft as compensation.

For me a 3rd round pick just seems to be a small compensation for Randy Moss, a guy that can make the difference in any game.

This is fantastic because now Wes Welker will actually have to deal with being covered. Fag.

Sadly enough, you still can't cover him. He's like Tasker at the line. You can put 2 guy up there to jam him, and he'll slip through like jam. It's better to just limit him to his quickness, and absorb it.

Welker is not the deep guy. No way, he is a small shifty guy that belongs as the slot receiver. Same with Parrish.

They would get stomped if they need to go deep.

That's what this meant:

Oh haha, sorry.

They aren't tall enough to be a deep threat. They have the speed, but not the height.

Easy killer. All he was saying is that 'Wessss' will now have a man all over him even when he doesn't have a 'man all over him'. What happens at Wessss's is Wessssss's business. If in fact you meant you "like" Wes, then I'm sorry to inform you he will soon be heavily covered(again).

jk, but I had to. Getting butt-hurt over Wes Welker's sexual preference was too much to pass up. Maybe I'm missing your sarcasm??

Oh, I thought he was calling me a fag for liking welker... sorry then gas.
I had no idea he was gay, so the joke just flew right over my head and out of the ballpark.
