Last night, the Rangers ran away with game six at home against the Yankees to advance to their first-ever World Series. Tonight, Brian Wilson held on to give the Giants the win over the Phillies in their own game six to face the Rangers. Discuss. (In b4 "worst television ratings EVAR!") |

Giants haven't won since '54. Rangers have never even been to the dance. Lee vs Lincecum. Great storylines. |

Typical slug-fest to open up the series with both aces on the mound, lol. Some sloppy play, but not too surprising with two newbie teams in their first WS. |

Nice to see Texas win to make it 2-1. I really believe the Rangers can go back to San Fran up 3-2. Ohh and Cliff Lee is not going to suck shit again. |

This WS turned out to be a little underwhelming - a couple of good story lines that never quite materialized, some sloppy or nervous play/pitching, some pretty desperate and un-clutch at bats. Blah. |

Congratulations to the Giants winning the World Series. They were not my pick, but they earned it. There is rumor of expanding the playoffs from 8 to 10 teams. That is a bad idea. Major League Baseball should look at merging 2 leagues into 1. |
