I just became a fan of Liverpool FC, right in time to watch Steven Gerrard put home a hattie in Europa play and then see Torres and his double sink Chelsea in Prem play. I know Alex supports Newcastle, but does anyone else on the Junkie watch the world's most popular game? Liverpool is gelling at the right time under manager Hodgson, with a possible 6 points and a shot at 4th in the EPL on the line this week. |

Sunderland defeated Chelsea 3 - 0 this past Sunday. Interesting. Perhaps the constant offseason player turnover at the top has resulted in some very good players falling into the hands of some of the other teams, and is causing some stunning results. We shall see. The midpoint on, the cream usually rises to the top. |

Chelsea's been on a bit of a spiral lately. Sir Alex has to get them righted. Liverpool won yesterday but it took the 20th ranked team for it to happen. They're in 7th now but it's gonna take some serious cojones for them to keep winning. |

He is. Sucks Stevie G is injured, but Kuyt filled his role ably. Next game is Tottenham on the 28th. |
