I have no idea, going to pick based on logos and mascots like I did last year. I do know that the Big East in Basketball is like the Big Ten in football. Tons of preseason hype, lots of postseason births, poor postseason performance, and only two teams that really matter (Ohio St. and Michigan/UConn and Syracuse). |

YES we're the top seed in the conference. Quarterfinals are this weekend, we're playing American International (I have no clue where that is). |

You must have missed this entire Big East season. Regardless of which poll you pick, the Big East has 9 teams in the top 25. Right now the under/over on Big East teams in the NCAA is 11. That's 11 teams that have been hammering away at each other all year long and are still ranked. That is absolutely incredible, not hype. Do yourself a favor and watch the Big East tournament and you might change your mind. By the way this is coming from an ACC fan, so there is no bias. |

I wouldn't have created this thread if George Mason didn't make it AND beat Villinova in their first game. But for anyone who watched that game, what a come from behind victory! |

See how many make a splash in the NCAA tournament. Georgetown and St. Johns already done. |

I didn't say it meant anything yet anyways, I simply said the big east is unlikely to matter later on in the tournament. Only major conference with fewer final four appearances than the Big East is the SEC. |

past success or failures do not mean anything at this point. plus its a relatively newer conference. |
