I think we can all agree that the Sabres looked largely ineffective in their shutout loss to the Canadiens. With key contributors Tim Connolly, Thomas Vanek and Patrick Kaleta out, it's easy to pin the blame on injuries.

But did the Sabres throw the game once they learend Halak was in net?

Consider this:
Buffalo knows that a playoff date is looming and Montreal is as likely a candidate as any. Was the loss intended to spread discord with the Canadiens with regards to the goaltender situation thus making them an easier target in the playoffs?

Did Toni Lydman play a bit lax due to his long standing hatred of Carey Price?

Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby, The Titanic, George W Bush, Niel Armstrong, The British Royal Family, and Bigfoot were all betting on the game, and trying to fix it as well...

Just what I heard

Haha just having fun with it a little bit. I don't know, Crim. The way that game got hot at the end... plus I just don't think any professional team would lose on purpose.

Yesterday I found out that white eggs and brown eggs have no difference nutrition wise. It's just cosmetic. The reason one is white and the other is brown is because of the color of the mother hen. If it's a white hen, it'll be a white egg and if it's a brown/red hen it's have a brown eggs. Thought I'd share that with you guys ;)

getting threadjacked

I could tell the Sabres were playing very "whatever". Halak was doing well, but you could tell the Habs wanted it more. A lot more

Of course they threw the game. they threw it to say they still suck and make Sabre Nation all frustrated, even though that had won four straight before losing two games in a row.

It keeps them real also, and doesn't let them get or us get too high up on our pedestal.
