Well apparently, according to Bruins fans the Sabres don't stand a chance....Rask apparently is better than Miller, and the Sabres are the team that the Bruins wanted to face......

I went through the first 3 pages of this sabres-bruins thread at their forums....only 1 poster said Buffalo will win....The rest of them are just giddy to be playing us with their better goalie...Most of them think the Bruins will win in 6....yea ok sure....

another poster said we have the worst pbp man in all of sports....

Boston plays that stick-in-the-mud style that bogs down Buffalo. That has kept quality chances low and allowed Rask to succeed against Buffalo (so far). Boston won the season series (8 pts to 6 pts) with that style, but one loss was with Enroth, one loss was in a SO, and one loss was with Lalime. I don't see Boston being able to score enough over a seven game series, but I am afraid that Buffalo could become impatient and play sloppy, and put the series in jeopardy.

If I had to make a prediction, I would say Buffalo in six close games.

Depends on if the team is ready to admit he has a broken foot yet, and if he can use his skate as a makeshift cast.

Ah, the joy of unfounded, blind confidence in a team that just last week was hanging on to the playoffs by a C hair.....lol Bruins fans

They're ssoooo dumb. They seem convinced that we were scared to play them and that's why we pulled the goalie. That's for home advantage you morons! I would rather play Boston than Philly because Philly has scorers like Briere, Carter, and Richards. Bruins best player is Savard and he's out.

That sounds about right. Based on what I've seen in the series and knowing the Bruins, I would expect a lot of 2-1, 3-2, 1-0 kind of games. Although the games will probably be a lot more exciting than you typical 1 goal game.

Shit! Boston is not the team I wanted the Sabres to play. This is going to be a tough series.

not who i wanted to play especially after how thomas absolutely denied ovechkin and looked like the vezina winner at points. though i doubt he'll see much ice time if boston is hoping to win.
