All he needed to do is pack the pounds on and if he didn't hit his playing days would be numbered, even with great position, especially with his size he needs to hit people to help it out.
6'8 and close to 230 is a pretty good size in the NHL. He'll still only get stronger and bigger, not taller, but he won't be as lanky.
