PHILADELPHIA -- Boston Bruins center David Krejci will miss the rest of the playoffs with a dislocated right wrist suffered in Wednesday night's Game 3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, the team confirmed Thursday morning.

This one hurts them pretty bad after losing Sturm.

Good thing they're up 3-0. But they'll need more than just the power of Satan if they face Pittsburgh in the next round.

Why would they? All injuries do to your team is nothing, they don't make you worse or even play differently, and the team can easily adjust in one game without that player.

Injuries certainly make you worse and definitely make you play differently, BUT they are NOT a good excuse for losing if the team you lost to has at least as many key injuires or more.

What if you have injuries and the opponents goalie plays like god?

Funny. Are you talking about the Sabres or Bruins, 'cause it applies to both! Miller saved the Sabres bacon roughly 8 billion times this year after they exhibited some truly horrid play.

Seidenberg is a tough loss, Stuart is easily replaced. Now losing both Sturm and Krejci will be hard to deal with. Looks like Pittsburgh or Montreal will have a depleted team to face either way, with Carter and Gagne out for Philly.

On a side note, I mentioned several times how the East is mediocre. This playoff season is ugly proof.

Boston's got this series, but they should be worried with those losses for the next round

A Pittsburgh/Boston series will be interesting because of, among other things, the Cooke/Savard incident. Those two have not seen each other since that day.

A Montreal/Boston (#6 vs. #8) series will make the hand-wringing over playoff position seem so pointless.
