Also, how coincidental that it was Campbell who fed Kane the puck for the winning goal.

After seeing this and my fav player Kane scored the winner, I am at a loss of words on how bad Leighton is. Philly go out and get a fucking goalie, if they had a goalie they might have beaten the Hawks.

So I wonder after this will philly ever get a goalie or not?? Leighton is by far one of the worst goalies I have ever seen in all my year of watching hockey, a shot from that angle should never ever go in. I know Niemi is not much better but I bet he would have made that save.

He wasn't their first choice, and it's easy to see why. He has some pretty apparent confidence/technique issues in his game that are too severe to be completely corrected. I kind of laughed when they declared Emery was their #1 last summer because he is not talented enough to be a 60+ game #1 or a Cup winer.

I think his reputation improved around here after he won the silver medal with the US, but now that he's going to bring a Cup back to Buffalo, I think the cab incident will completely by water under the bridge (as it should be).

I think you guys are waaaaaay too hard on Leighton.

First, are you forgetting that he was NOT their starting goaltender? That was Ray Emery, out with a hip injury.

Secondly, he faced 41 shots while Niemi only faced 24....and they eneded up in OT!

Cut the guy some slack. He did okay.
