Price has not been the same goalie since the world juniors and I fully expect him to keep sucking next year

in fairness, prices numbers rebounded ok this season. if that was his first year, we would be expected a great year from him this coming season. but because he has struggled.. i dunno.

i fully expect price to bloom to an elite goalie, maybe even this coming season. hes got the tools, and it looked like last year, towards the end, the mentality became more professional. sleeping giant. the NE division is loaded with talent in nets.

He does have potential to become an elite goalie but to me he has had way too many ups and downs so far early in his career

goalies have those. its the toughest position to grow into and play. he should be in his second year, not 4th coming up. dudes legit, hes just struggling to adjust. the learning curve is evening out.

In Price's defense, having his ups and downs now as opposed to in his supposed prime is better for him by far.

Also it doesn't help that he plays in a market where the get on you for every little thing he does.

Very true unlike some other goalies like Tim Thomas and Nabakov are going through right now.

Price worked his ass off his entire childhood to become as good as he is. He felt entitled to party it up in Montreal instead of tuning up his game. He`s learned now and will become the elite goalie everyone has been waiting for.

He was rushed into the starting role, and his rookie year was fantastic for a rookie goalie at 19 or whatever he was.

Halak was drafted the same year but also an older player and he was better than Price because of more experience and not being rushed. Price will be an Elite goalie, if not a very damn good goalie. Give him a year or two and he'll not be making some of the mistakes he makes, it's all experience and age right now. the kid is 21.
