What'll happen to me is this'll probably last another three to five days. The pain will build until around day four or five, which is when I don't speak a word cuz it hurts to move my mouth. Then, it all goes away. It's already happened a few times before, so that's what I think is happening this time.

My jaw has been hurting since Thursday. I'm fairly sure all of my wisdom teeth are impacted, which sucks. There may be one that isn't, I don't really remember. It also sucks, because I can't get them out for probably another two weeks, because the boy is visiting next week, and I'd rather not be a puffy faced useless blob when he visits lol. So yay for jaw pain.

Fixed for you ;)

It's a reference to Peanuts - Sally calls Linus her "sweet baboo"

Kids these days

My two lower wisdom teeth are mostly in. The top left one is there waiting to break through my gums; I can feel it with my tongue. It'll probably be in within the next year. Top right... there's nothing there, so I have no idea lol. I got x-rays done about a month ago when I had a dental appointment, though, and they're all perfectly fine, and I have room for them. Will have survived never having braces and never having a tooth pulled yaaaay! I just have a wonky tooth on the bottom that nobody ever sees; it's half in front of the one next to it. My mother and one of my brothers have the same thing. My dentist back in the day wanted to have it pulled when it first came in when I was like ten because the baby tooth that was there was completely in front of the others instead of just a little, and he thought the same thing would happen with my adult teeth. I didn't let him. Good thing because there would be a gap there now if I had. Now there's room in my mouth for all my teeth. neener neener

I love this heat wave we are having, it was 36C/97F yesterday with humidex/heat index at 42C/108F. Today its a little cooler here in London at 33C/91F with a humidex/heat index at 38C/100F. Why can't we all use the temp scale??

I hate summer. Give me late spring and early fall. The heat and humidity of Buffalo summers can DIAF.

Die in a fire.

I love this hot weather. Go away. I bet it's hotter here than it is in WNY, too. It usually is in the summer. For example, Buffalo's never reached 100 degrees. That's all it did here summer of 98. Also, no breezes courtesy of Lake Erie.

HOW CAN YOU BAIL ON GOING TO THE BEACH?!

That is just incomprehensible behavior to me. I mean, I could see bailing on going to Lake Erie, but not one of the other lakes and especially not the ocean. Oh my gosh a dip in the Atlantic would be amazing right now.

You're 100% wrong that Buffalo has never reached 100 degrees.

I hate the summer. I have sensitive eyes, so I hate the light. I have fair skin, so I burn easy. I have no tolerance for heat, so I get cranky and pissy. Give me a half-sunny,half-cloudy day in the winter at 25 degrees over 90 degree in the summer with 35% humidity and baking sun and I'll GLADLY accept.

I've gone to the beach a few times already this summer, and am going to go probably 2 or 3 more times before I leave. Woohoo! Except I might have to miss out on the beach trip this Thursday because I might have to reschedule my dentist appointment then. :(

Also, Phil, I hear ya. That's why living here sucks so much, cause its 90s and humid seemingly all the time. It's one of the many reasons I never go outside lol.

Frig the whole city of London is on a heat alert and telling people to stay inside  people just need to grow a set of balls. 2 years ago I was working at a golf course and I was outside working in humidity rating of 45C/115F so there ;)

miami has never reached 100. it stalls out at 99.

last year in the keys, we hit 108 with full humidity. it was the hottest ive ever been. that includes playing inline in full goalie equipment without AC in a warehouse on 90 degree days.

The record high for Buffalo ever was 99 degrees in 1948 according to this. I can't find anything else that indicates what the hottest day on record is except for sites citing that despite rewording my search query over and over (and all the NWS has is highest average temperatures for each month as far as I can tell), which is annoying me, but I remember reading it in an article several years ago that was published in response to the NWS informing Buffalo that they had the best summer in the country. That's likely where that information came from.

At any rate, Buffalo has awesome summers, typically. Driest city in the Northeast, the most sun in the Northeast, only hits 90 for maybe a couple days every 3-4 years or so, breezes off the lake... Nice.

Various news channels in 2009 recorded temperatures of 101. I'm going to have to dig, but I know this as sure as I know myself.
