I haven't had that in years! They still make it? I used to love it.

I know, I thought they stopped making it a while ago. But since I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday my mom is stocking up on some stuff, and she found that they are indeed still making it. It's wonderful.

It disappoints me how lazy my generation is. At work, nobody ever wants to do anything to help for closing. I understand it's a minimum wage job and it sucks, but you're getting paid for working there... therefore you should actually be doing the work! Everyone there tries to get out of doing anything that we have on our closing list of things to do. I don't want to be doing things any more than them, but I do them because I'm getting paid for it and I want to get out of there and go home. But no. I'm forced to do almost all of the work while everyone else pretty much stands around watching. I've gotten to the point where I'm telling people what they need to do, and I'm not giving them any option on if they want to do it. I'm still nice about it, but if they try to get out of it, I make sure they know I'm serious. It's just so frustrating. It amazes me that out of so many that work there, I'm one of the only ones with work ethic. Just disappointing...

Pretty much. If no one wants to do it, then why should you work extra hard for them. Do your task and stop just like them.

Maybe they'll see no one will do their work for them, and the longer you get to stay there, the more you'll get in hours.

Thing is, we can't really leave til everything is done...at least depending on which manager is closing that night. So if I just did my task and stopped, then I'd just be waiting around for them to finish arguing who should do what... then wait around longer as they slowly finish their task. And I really, really don't want to wait around. It just goes faster if I do the brunt of the work and tell them what tasks I need them to help me with. It may be frustrating and annoying, but it's the only way things will get done.

Also, I'm barely getting any more in hours. The difference between leaving at 11:30 and leaving at 12 is minimal. After a long day of work, I'd rather get things done fast and leave, than wait for unbearably lazy people to get their work done and stay there longer than I need to.

Maybe I'm just OCD in the fact that I like getting things done fast and efficiently. I guess you could say I like doing work, sorta. I mean, I don't like just standing around doing nothing when there are things that need to get done, especially if I'm getting paid. If something needs to be cleaned, I'll do it. If I had a choice between standing around, or doing something that needs to get done, I'll go for the latter. Maybe I'm just weird.

It's gonna be a good week...new job starts tomorrow, I'll still get one more unemployment check (which I claimed today), all the news that came forth from SDCC was excellent (Ryan Reynolds said the Lantern Corps' oath! The Infinity Gauntlet and Cosmic Cube are in Odin's armory! Street Fighter X Tekken! Famous-among-ubernerds cosplaying goddess Belle Chere continues to be as such! Cowboys Vs Aliens!), we got new bikes today, and I'm gonna be joining a gaggle of friends to dine and make mirth with Ed tonight!
